Jorge Gutiérrez

Our founder, Jorge Gutiérrez, has been representing individuals against the giant that is the insurance industry since 1999. Mr. Gutiérrez has successfully fought against insurance companies, healthcare providers, and more, and has secured many multi-million dollar verdicts for his clients. Mr. Gutiérrez has litigated claims involving serious personal injuries, premises liability, product liability, wrongful death, abuse in nursing homes, and medical malpractice.
Mr. Gutiérrez is a member of the Florida and Colorado Bar Associations, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and the United States Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit. He is licensed to practice in all Florida state courts. He is also a member of the Dade County Bar Association, the Miami-Dade Justice Association, the Cuban-American Bar Association, the National Latino Trial Lawyers Association, the National Trial Lawyers Association, and the Florida Justice Association. Mr. Gutiérrez is a member of the Litigation Counsel of America, the Honorary Society of Trial Lawyers, and a member of the Trial Law Institute and the Diversity Law Institute. He is board-certified in civil trials by the Florida Bar Association, which indicates that he has special knowledge, skills, competence, professionalism, and ethics in practice.
Mr. Gutiérrez has been honored to be named to the list of Super Lawyers from 2020 to 2024 after first being named to the 2015 Super Lawyers Rising Stars list. He is also recognized as one of the Top 100 Civil Plaintiff Lawyers by the National Trial Lawyers.
Born and raised in West Palm Beach, Florida, Mr. Gutiérrez received his Juris Doctorate from St. Thomas University School of Law in Miami. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in English with a specialization in creative writing from Florida State University, where he was a member of the Sigma Nu Fraternity.
When he is not fighting for his clients, Mr. Gutiérrez is a hunter and conservationist. He dedicates much time and effort to his alma mater, Florida State University, as a Platinum Chief of Seminole Boosters. He lives in Miami with his wife and two children. He is fluent in both English and Spanish.
Carlos Migoya

Carlos Migoya Jr. has dedicated his 20-plus years of experience to ensuring justice for each client based on their individual needs. Mr. Migoya has represented clients in all manner of personal injury cases, premises liability and product liability, contractual disputes, criminal matters, and traffic offenses.
Mr. Migoya is a trial lawyer from Colorado who has litigated claims and criminal matters throughout Colorado. He has also represented clients in all manner of criminal defense and traffic offenses. He is admitted to practice in all Colorado state courts and the Federal District Court of Colorado. He is also a member of the Colorado Hispanic Bar Association.
Initially, Mr. Migoya came to Colorado to study law but stayed after his love for the views and people of Colorado became an indispensable part of his life. Over the years, he has served as President of the Young Lawyers Division of the Colorado Bar Association and was named a member of the Board of Governors of the Colorado Bar Association. Mr. Migoya has also been honored to be named to the 2011 – 2017 Super Lawyers list.
However, Mr. Migoya is most proud of his time coaching high school football and being a board member of Tribe Recovery Homes (an organization aimed at helping people overcome addictions).
Mr. Migoya has always dedicated his legal efforts to the underdogs. Whether it’s someone oppressed by the long arms of insurance companies or the harsh control of prosecutors, Mr. Migoya ensures they never fight alone. Giving a voice to those who sometimes feel they don’t have one is his primary goal.
Mr. Migoya received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Denver where he served as President of the Latino Law Students Association. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Florida State University, where he was a student senator, a member of the rugby team, and a member of the Sigma Nu Fraternity.
Mr. Migoya lives in Denver with his wife and two daughters. He is fluent in both English and Spanish.
